True Blue is a double based, spherical powder that performs extremely well in most handgun cases. The load range for True Blue is currently from the .380 Auto to .454 Casull weights in progressive loaders. True Blue’s physical size contributes to excellent metering properties and consistency of charge weights when run through a progressive loader. True Blue’s high bulk density contributes to a fuller case capacity and more consistent loads. Grain shape is flat ball. Ideal Calibers: 9mm, .38 Special, .357 Mag, .45 ACP

“The” All Around Pistol Powder
I have loaded True Blue in 38 special, 357 magnum, 44 magnum and 45 auto. If I loaded 9mm luger or 40 S&W I would load it there also. Great results for max or mid loads. I tend to load this powder near max with great results, and find it very forgiving at medium or light loads. While it will not give max velocities in magnums it delivers very impressive better than book velocities.(I would load this powder to back up dangerous game hunting without pause) I wanted to be able to purchase a pistol powder in quantity that would work in all my calibers…this powder delivered. I will still load other powders, but if I have to have just 1, TB is it. Accurate, clean and meters great in my Lee Pro Auto-disks on turrets. Good economics too. (Ruger Redhawk 7.5, Ruger P90, Para P14-45, S&W Model 28 Highway Patrolman) Have fun!

Used this powder for the first time when I couldn’t find any other powder recommendation for Berry’s Bullets 185gn HBRN plated bullet in 45ACP. Have since used it for Rainer 115gn 9mm plated bullets as well, both with good accuracy. Meters consistently thru my RCBS Uniflow powder measure. Ramshot powders are taking up more and more space in my powder magazine!
